Ingredients
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder (For darker hair only)
- 1 tbsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp arrowroot powder
Instructions
- Add the ingredients to a small bowl and mix with a fork or spoon, then transfer the mixture to a jam-sized jar.
- To remove clumps whisk until smooth.
- If you are blonde, omit the cocoa powder. I typically double this recipe for a small jam jar.
- I use a designated large angled makeup brush for application. Don't forget to wash your brush as needed and let it air dry to keep it clean.
- When applying, I gently dab my brush on the top of the powder and tap the side of the jar to remove any excess. I apply it directly to my roots and blend it in. Then, I use a hairbrush to distribute it evenly and a hair dryer to help work it through my hair.
- This is great for being on the go while traveling. It's also cheaper than buying dry shampoo. Enjoy!
